The Dog Penn, Pittsburgh’s only Dog Park & Bar, is located on Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh. It is just down the street from the hustle and bustle of the Strip District
Before your visit, you’ll want to go to their website or download their app to register your dog. The cost is $12 per day for dogs and there’s no charge for human members of the DILDO pack. Once registered, you’ll be asked to upload copies of your dog’s vaccination record. This ensures your dog meets health and safety requirements to attend the dog park.
You’ll be greeted and checked in by friendly staff – quite possibly owners Travis and Alissa.
Dogs are required on leash inside the bar area, but can be off leash once outside. Grab a drink from the bar and head outside
You’ll find a variety of Adirondack Chairs, benches, and tables. You can relax with a drink while your dog runs and plays on the astroturfed lawn.
WiFi is available if you want to catch up on some work while your dog enjoys a playful afternoon.

Perdita enjoyed her day at The Dog Penn. She made some new friends, both human and canine, and played herself silly.
